Karachi, December 24, 2025 – The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) on Wednesday released the latest gold and silver prices in Pakistan to facilitate investors, traders, and the general public amid strong volatility in the bullion markets.
According to the association, gold prices in the local market continued to trade at record-high levels, supported by a sharp rise in international bullion rates and a relatively firm US dollar in the global market. The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs2,000 to settle at Rs472,862, reflecting sustained demand for safe-haven assets. Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams rose by Rs1,714 to Rs405,402, while 22-karat gold per 10 grams climbed by Rs1,572 to Rs371,632.
Silver prices also witnessed a strong upward trend on Wednesday. The price of 24-karat silver per tola jumped by Rs500 to reach Rs7,705, while silver per 10 grams gained Rs428 to close at Rs6,605 in the local bullion market. Traders said silver continued to benefit from rising industrial demand and spillover buying from the gold market.
On the international front, gold prices rose by $20 to hit a fresh all-time high of $4,505 per ounce, while silver prices surged by $5 to settle at $72.30 per ounce. Analysts believe global geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainty have kept precious metals attractive for investors worldwide.
The APSGJA clarified that local gold and silver prices are calculated on the basis of prevailing international market rates and interbank foreign exchange rates issued by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
