Karachi, January 6, 2026 — The All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association (APGJA) on Tuesday released the latest gold and silver prices in Pakistan to guide consumers, investors, and bullion traders amid ongoing volatility in global commodity markets.
According to the association, gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend, tracking strong gains in the international bullion market. The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs3,200 to settle at Rs467,962, while 24-karat gold per 10 grams rose by Rs2,743 to Rs401,201. Meanwhile, the price of 22-karat gold per 10 grams climbed by Rs2,514 to Rs367,780, reflecting higher import costs and sustained local demand.
Silver prices also recorded a notable increase during the session. The price of 24-karat silver per tola surged by Rs338 to reach Rs8,361, while silver per 10 grams gained Rs290 to stand at Rs7,168 in the domestic market. Internationally, silver prices rose sharply, supporting the bullish sentiment in Pakistan’s bullion trade.
Market experts said precious metals remained in demand due to global political uncertainty, inflation concerns, and ongoing trade tensions, which have encouraged investors to seek safe-haven assets. As Pakistan relies heavily on imported gold and silver, fluctuations in global prices and exchange rates directly impact local bullion rates.
The association clarified that local gold and silver prices are determined on the basis of prevailing international market trends and interbank foreign exchange rates issued by the State Bank of Pakistan, making daily updates essential for buyers and sellers.
