Karachi, March 16, 2026 – The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association has released the latest gold and silver prices in Pakistan for Monday to facilitate bullion traders, investors, and the general public.
According to the association, precious metal prices continued to decline in the local bullion market amid weakness in international markets. The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs1,800, bringing the rate down to Rs522,762. Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs1,543, settling at Rs448,184 in local markets.
The decline was also reflected in other gold categories, with 22-karat gold per 10 grams falling by Rs1,414 to Rs410,850. Market experts note that fluctuations in global bullion rates and currency movements continue to influence local precious metal prices.
In the international market, the price of Gold declined by $18 per ounce, reaching $5,000, compared to the previous closing of $5,018. The drop in global prices has directly affected domestic bullion markets.
Meanwhile, Silver prices also witnessed a decline. The price of 24-karat silver per tola decreased by Rs100 to Rs8,441, while silver per 10 grams fell by Rs86 to Rs7,236. In international trading, silver dropped by $1.00 per ounce to $79.57.
Bullion traders say that investors are closely watching global developments, including geopolitical tensions and economic indicators, which often cause volatility in precious metal markets.
The association further noted that local gold and silver prices are closely linked with interbank exchange rates released by the State Bank of Pakistan, meaning fluctuations in the rupee against the US dollar can significantly influence domestic bullion prices.
