Karachi, March 6, 2026: The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association has released the latest gold and silver prices for Friday, March 6, 2026, to guide the general public, investors, and bullion market traders. The updated rates reflect both domestic demand and global market trends, influenced by ongoing economic conditions, currency fluctuations, and geopolitical developments.
Domestic gold prices continue to experience a correction, with 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs3,400 to Rs533,762, while 24-karat gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs2,915, closing at Rs457,614. The 22-karat gold per 10 grams also dropped by Rs2,672 to Rs419,494. Global gold prices per ounce ended at $5,110, down by $34, as international markets responded to geopolitical tensions and changes in investor sentiment.
On the other hand, silver prices showed a slight upward trend. 24-karat silver per tola gained Rs104, ending at Rs8,914, while per 10 grams rose by Rs89, closing at Rs7,642. In international markets, silver per ounce increased by $1.04 to $84.30, reflecting stronger demand amid safe-haven buying.
The association emphasized that domestic gold and silver prices are linked with the interbank foreign exchange rates, released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). Fluctuations in the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar directly affect the bullion market, influencing both buying and selling prices for investors and jewelers.
Traders, investors, and consumers are advised to monitor daily price movements, especially in the current volatile global economic and geopolitical environment, to make informed decisions regarding purchases, sales, and investments in precious metals.
