Tom Cruise has reportedly reached out to his ex-wife Nicole Kidman following her highly publicized split from country singer Keith Urban, according to a new report by Heat World.
An insider told the outlet that Cruise, 63, has shown compassion rather than gloating over Kidman’s difficult time. “He’s not the type to rub this in her face,” the source said. “Tom actually feels a lot of sympathy for her right now — it’s never easy going through a public split.”
The insider also revealed that Cruise was troubled by the way Urban has allegedly treated Kidman in recent months, particularly his on-stage flirtations with a guitarist. “Tom feels terrible that Nicole has to deal with that kind of humiliation,” the source added. “He knows how painful it can be.”
Despite their complicated history, Cruise has reportedly taken the high road and even offered emotional support to Kidman privately. “No one would blame him for gloating, but he’s actually being very magnanimous about it,” the insider noted.
Kidman and Urban recently announced their divorce after more than 20 years of marriage. The pair share two daughters — Faith, 17, and Rose, 14. Reports suggest Nicole tried to “save the marriage” before the separation became final.
