British actor Tom Holland has announced a global fan competition offering a select group of winners a chance to attend the premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31, alongside the film’s cast.

Holland revealed the initiative in an Instagram video posted on April 10, filmed from the top of New York’s Empire State Building, a landmark closely associated with the Spider-Man franchise.

“Good morning everyone. I am standing on top of the Empire State Building. And I want to let you know that I want you to come join me at the Spider-Man: Brand New Day premiere,” Holland said in the video. “We will fly you from anywhere around the world, we will put you in a swanky hotel and give you some spending money in L.A. It’ll be super exciting.”

The actor, 29, described the upcoming fourth installment as his “favourite one” in the series and praised his co-stars, including fiancée Zendaya, as well as Jon Bernthal and Jacob Batalon.

“Jon Bernthal is amazing, Zendaya is amazing, Jacob Batalon is amazing, everyone in the movie is absolutely fantastic,” he said.

Holland also noted appearances from other Marvel characters in the upcoming film. Footage from a recent trailer showed Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, while Stranger Things star Sadie Sink is set to join the cast in a mystery role. Bernthal’s Punisher character also appeared in the trailer, marking a notable crossover within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Fans interested in the competition can enter through The Brothers Trust website, which is running the initiative linked to the film’s promotional campaign.

The premiere is scheduled for July 31 in Los Angeles, with global fan engagement expected to build ahead of the release.
