Karachi, November 20, 2025 – The Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL) has confirmed the dispatch of its first export consignment to Carrefour Qatar, marking a significant milestone in the company’s regional expansion strategy.
In a statement to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday, TOMCL highlighted that this achievement follows its earlier qualification for direct exports to Carrefour UAE. The approval for Qatar now makes it the company’s second GCC destination for direct exports.
The company emphasized that it met Carrefour’s rigorous standards for food safety, hygiene, operational controls, and system compliance, ensuring the consignment adheres to international quality benchmarks. “This approval strengthens TOMCL’s presence in high-value GCC retail markets and reinforces its reputation as a trusted halal meat supplier in the region,” the statement added.
TOMCL confirmed that the first consignment has been successfully dispatched, officially commencing exports to Carrefour Qatar under the new approval. The development aligns with the company’s long-term strategy to increase export volumes, expand premium product placement, and enhance brand visibility across international retail networks.
The company also reiterated its commitment to maintaining global quality standards and promoting Pakistan as a reliable exporter of certified halal meat products, supporting the growth of the country’s halal meat industry.
This milestone underscores TOMCL’s continued efforts to strengthen its regional footprint and deliver high-quality products to GCC markets.
