Toyota has offered a first official glimpse inside its upcoming three-row electric SUV, signaling that the brand is gearing up to expand its electric portfolio in the family SUV segment.

The new model is scheduled to make its full debut in the United States on February 10, but the recently released interior teasers already reveal several key details about what buyers can expect.

From the images shared, the electric SUV features a seven-seat configuration, highlighted by second-row captain’s chairs, suggesting this is likely a premium or top-spec variant.

The cabin design leans heavily toward comfort and modern aesthetics, with white leather and leatherette surfaces covering the seats, dashboard, steering wheel, center console, and door panels.

The overall look feels clean, upscale, and clearly aimed at family-oriented buyers who want luxury without going over the top.

Technology plays a central role in the interior layout. A fully digital driver display sits behind the steering wheel, while a large central infotainment touchscreen dominates the dashboard.

Toyota appears to be blending physical and touch-based controls—there’s a traditional volume knob and power button, paired with what seem to be capacitive climate controls, complemented by a small row of physical buttons underneath for added usability.

Adding to the premium feel is electric blue ambient lighting, visible across the dashboard and door trims.

Other standout features include a panoramic glass roof, three-zone automatic climate control, and perforated leather seating, all pointing toward a well-equipped electric flagship.

Industry speculation suggests Toyota may revive the Highlander nameplate for this model in the US, potentially branding it as the bZ Highlander.

The move would make sense, given the Highlander’s long-standing reputation as a family-friendly SUV.

Toyota has already simplified its electric naming strategy in North America, recently renaming the bZ4X to just “bZ” and introducing the bZ Woodland for the extended Touring variant.

With its three-row layout, the new electric SUV is expected to be larger than the bZ4X Touring, which already measures around 4.85 meters in length.

Production is planned at Toyota’s Indiana facility, alongside the conventional Highlander and Grand Highlander models.
