Toyota Slashes Prado Prices by Up to Rs 1.6 Crore

New Prado

Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) has announced a substantial price cut for its flagship models—the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 and Prado—in Pakistan.

The price reductions, which took effect on July 1, 2025, come as a result of recent adjustments in government levies. Toyota IMC has chosen to transfer these benefits directly to customers, making its premium SUV lineup more financially accessible.

Updated Prices of Toyota Prado

The most notable drop is seen in the Toyota Prado Diesel variant, which has seen a massive price reduction of Rs 1.55 crore. Previously priced at Rs 75,550,000, it is now available for Rs 60,000,000, making it an attractive option for diesel SUV enthusiasts.

Likewise, the Toyota Prado Petrol variant has experienced a significant decrease of Rs 1.16 crore. Its earlier price of Rs 65,600,000 has now been revised to Rs 55,000,000. This move brings the petrol version closer in line with customer affordability, especially for those preferring gasoline-powered SUVs.

Toyota IMC has directed its authorized dealerships across Pakistan to clearly communicate these new ex-factory Karachi prices to all customers. Importantly, these revised rates apply not only to fresh bookings but also to existing orders placed on or after July 1, 2025.

The updated prices are inclusive of Sales Tax, Federal Excise Duty (FED), and dealer margins, ensuring clarity and transparency. However, the company has clarified that transportation and insurance charges remain excluded from the stated prices. Additionally, all prices are provisional and subject to change in case of further revisions in government taxes, duties, or tariffs.

This strategic price cut marks a bold move by Toyota IMC to stay competitive in Pakistan’s high-end SUV segment. The Land Cruiser, a long-standing icon of durability and luxury, is now more attainable for customers looking to own a premium SUV with enhanced value.

With this latest development, Toyota reinforces its commitment to offering value-driven mobility solutions while aligning with evolving government regulations and market dynamics.
