Toyota has officially pulled the wraps off the fully redesigned 2026 RAV4, marking the debut of its sixth-generation model. As America’s best-selling compact SUV, the new RAV4 promises enhanced performance, bold styling, advanced technology, and an entirely electrified lineup.
Available in a variety of trims across Core, Rugged, and Sport styles, the 2026 RAV4 introduces exciting new options like the GR SPORT and an upgraded Woodland Edition.
100% Electrified Lineup
The 2026 Toyota RAV4 goes fully electrified, offering both Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) variants.
The PHEV models now boast up to 320 horsepower and an estimated 50-mile all-electric range—an impressive 20% increase over the previous generation. All PHEV trims come standard with All-Wheel Drive (AWD) and fast charging capabilities on select models.
HEV models receive Toyota’s new fifth-generation hybrid system, delivering up to 236 hp on AWD and 226 hp on the newly available Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) versions. The hybrid option now comes in a wider range of configurations, giving buyers more flexibility than ever.
Bold New Designs: Core, Rugged, and Sport
The RAV4’s three design themes cater to a wide range of lifestyles. The Core models (LE, XLE, Limited) feature sleek body lines, black cladding, and wheel sizes from 17 to 20 inches.
The Rugged style is exclusive to the outdoor-ready Woodland Edition, which now becomes its own trim. With standard AWD, a raised ride height, all-terrain tires, and a bold split grille, the Woodland is ready for any adventure.
On the performance end, the all-new GR SPORT—developed with Toyota GAZOO Racing—brings motorsport-inspired design and dynamic handling. This PHEV-only model features GR-tuned suspension, sporty body kits, and exclusive two-tone paint options.
Advanced Tech & Safety
Inside, the RAV4 features the debut of Toyota’s Arene software platform, powering the all-new Toyota Audio Multimedia system and the latest Toyota Safety Sense 4.0. Highlights include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, up to a 12.9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and dual Bluetooth® connectivity.
Arriving Soon
The 2026 Toyota RAV4 will begin arriving at U.S. dealerships later this year. Pricing and additional specs will be announced closer to the on-sale date.
With a redesigned look, upgraded powertrains, and tech-rich features, the all-new RAV4 continues to set the standard in the compact SUV category.
