Toyota has officially introduced the all-new C-HR+, a battery-electric SUV designed to strengthen the brand’s position in Europe’s growing C-SUV BEV segment. Scheduled for launch in late 2025, the C-HR+ combines an eye-catching coupe-SUV design with advanced electric performance and practical features.
As an evolution of the conventional C-HR, the C-HR+ is built on Toyota’s specialized e-TNGA platform. The vehicle’s aerodynamic design highlights a bold stance, ensuring a dynamic driving experience while maximizing efficiency.
Despite its coupe-like silhouette, the interior remains spacious, providing ample headroom for rear passengers without compromising aesthetics.
Inside, Toyota promises a premium experience with a refined, technology-driven layout. The C-HR+ measures 4,520mm in length with a 2,750mm wheelbase, delivering generous cabin space that surpasses typical C-segment expectations.
Practicality is enhanced with 416 liters of cargo capacity, dual wireless smartphone chargers, rear USB ports, and a panoramic roof, making it a versatile choice for modern drivers.
The C-HR+ will be available with two battery configurations: a 57.7 kWh option for the front-wheel-drive variant and a larger 77 kWh battery, which supports both front-wheel and all-wheel-drive setups. Depending on the model, the vehicle offers an impressive WLTP-estimated range of up to 600km, catering to diverse driving needs.
Performance is a standout feature, particularly in the all-wheel-drive version, which boasts 343 DIN hp (252 kW) and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds—making it one of Toyota’s most powerful models outside the GR performance lineup.
The front-wheel-drive versions offer 167 DIN hp (123 kW) with the smaller battery and 224 DIN hp (165 kW) with the larger battery, providing efficient yet engaging driving dynamics.
To ensure a smooth and responsive ride, the C-HR+ benefits from finely tuned suspension, precise steering, and a low center of gravity.
Advanced features include a battery pre-conditioning system, an energy-efficient heat pump, and DC fast charging up to 150 kW for reduced charging times.
Safety and connectivity are at the forefront, with Toyota T-Mate and Toyota Safety Sense systems coming standard. Features like a Blind Spot Monitor, Adaptive High-Beam System, and a 14-inch multimedia display with EV-optimized navigation enhance convenience. Additionally, the MyToyota app enables remote vehicle management.
With the C-HR+, Toyota reinforces its commitment to carbon neutrality in Europe by 2035. The SUV’s late 2025 debut will strengthen Toyota’s foothold in the competitive EV market, offering a blend of style, performance, and sustainability.
