Travis Kelce is living every Swiftie’s dream — except his experience is far more personal. The Kansas City Chiefs star recently revealed what it was like to hear Taylor Swift perform songs from her new album The Life of a Showgirl before its official release.

During the October 8 episode of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce, the 35-year-old NFL player said the experience was “a different feel” compared to listening to music alone. “When Taylor’s in the room with you, you just want to appreciate it for what it is,” Travis shared. “It’s her creation, and I think the biggest thing is to make sure she knows you’re open to what she’s creating.”

Travis also admitted that hearing Swift’s lyrics about their relationship made the moment even more special. “It was fun to hear all these come together, knowing that a few of them have been about our life together,” he said warmly.

The athlete added that seeing fans’ reactions has been just as exciting. “It’s been fun to see everyone dancing and smiling and having a blast,” Travis said, proudly cheering for his fiancée. “Let’s give it up for Taylor — she’s done it again. She’s put the world on tilt.”

When asked by Jason about the album’s more explicit lyrics, Travis playfully dodged, saying only that “any song she refers to me in” is special.
