Trevor Noah is set to make a final return to the Grammy Awards stage, as the Recording Academy and CBS have confirmed the Emmy-winning comedian will host the 2026 Grammys. The upcoming ceremony has been billed as Noah’s “last hoorah” as emcee, marking the end of an era for the prestigious music awards show.

The 2026 Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, February 1, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. This will be Noah’s sixth time hosting the ceremony and his latest stint as an executive producer, a role he has held in recent years while helping modernize the show’s tone and global appeal.

Ben Winston, executive producer at Fulwell Entertainment, praised Noah’s contribution to the Grammys, calling him “the most phenomenal host” in the show’s history. Winston highlighted Noah’s sharp wit, deep appreciation for music, and strong connection with artists as key factors behind the show’s recent success.

The 2026 broadcast will also be historically significant as it marks the Grammys’ final airing on CBS, which has been the home of the awards since 1973. Beginning in 2027, the ceremony will move to Disney under a new 10-year broadcast deal. Fans will still be able to stream the 2026 Grammys live and on demand via Paramount+.

Meanwhile, excitement continues to build around the nominations, with Kendrick Lamar leading the field with nine nods. Lady Gaga, Jack Antonoff, and Cirkut are also among the top contenders. Performers and presenters for the night are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
