Karachi, March 9, 2026 – United Bank Limited (UBL) has announced a 40% discount on tax filing services through third-party providers but clarified that it does not assume any liability for taxpayers availing the offer, which is provided to celebrate Ramazan.
The offer covers a range of services, including income tax filing, sales tax, digital invoicing, and tax advisory services, aimed at easing the compliance process for UBL customers. The bank emphasized that these services are facilitated via third-party providers and are not directly handled by UBL.
In an official statement, UBL clarified, “The bank shall not be liable for any action or inaction on the part of a third-party provider.” Customers are required to indemnify and hold the bank harmless against any losses, liabilities, or damages that may arise from using third-party services, whether recommended by the bank or not.
UBL also advised customers to exercise caution, conduct their own due diligence, and make informed decisions before utilizing any services offered through third-party facilitators. “Customers should apply good judgment at all times while engaging these services,” the bank added.
