Vivo has officially launched its V40e smartphone in India, expanding its V40 series lineup. The device sports a sleek design, continuing the design language of the V40 and V40 Pro.
Its 6.67-inch OLED display is curved, adding to its premium appeal. The screen also offers FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, ensuring vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling.
Under the hood, the Vivo V40e is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. The phone is available with 8GB of RAM, and storage options include 128GB and 256GB, though there’s no support for external storage expansion.
Vivo’s Aura Light portrait system enhances the dual-camera setup on the back, which features a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide lens. For selfies, the device boasts a 50MP front camera equipped with eye autofocus, ensuring sharp and detailed shots.
The Vivo V40e runs on FuntouchOS 14, based on the latest Android 14, providing users with a modern and smooth software experience.
Vivo has also committed to delivering three years of Android version updates and four years of security patches, ensuring the device stays up to date.

The pricing for the Vivo V40e in India starts at INR 28,999 ($347) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version is priced at INR 30,999 ($370).
Pre-orders are already live on Vivo’s online store and through partnering retailers, with open sales starting on October 2.
