Chasing 199, Alyssa Healy and Phoebe Litchfield powered Australia to an effortless victory, reaching the target in under 25 overs without losing a wicket.

With this emphatic triumph, Australia climbed to the top of the Women’s World Cup 2025 points table, securing nine points from five matches and maintaining their unbeaten streak. Bangladesh, on the other hand, stayed in sixth position with just two points from five games.

The Australian opening duo delivered a masterclass in batting. Healy smashed an unbeaten 113 off 77 balls, marking her second century of the tournament, and struck 20 boundaries in a breathtaking display of power hitting. Her partner Litchfield remained unbeaten on 84, adding 12 fours and a six in a 199-run opening stand that left Bangladesh’s bowlers helpless.

Earlier, Bangladesh managed 198/9 after winning the toss and opting to bat. Sobhana Mostary played a fighting innings, remaining unbeaten on 66 off 80 balls with nine boundaries.
