Islamabad, June 7, 2025 – As Pakistanis celebrate Eid-ul-Adha 2025, Murree, the country’s most popular hill station, continues to attract thousands of visitors. However, the weather in Murree on the first day of Eid has been unusually hot, catching many tourists off guard.

According to AccuWeather, temperatures in Murree soared to a daytime high of 38°C on Saturday, June 7, with a RealFeel® temperature of 40°C. Despite its reputation for cooler climates, Murree experienced harsh sunshine with extreme UV levels, raising the risk of dehydration and heatstroke for those spending long hours outdoors. Winds remained light at around 9 km/h, offering little relief from the oppressive heat.

However, the weather in Murree is expected to become relatively pleasant as the Eid holidays progress. On the second and third days of Eid, temperatures are forecasted to drop slightly. On Sunday, June 8, the weather in Murree will moderate, with daytime highs falling to 32°C and a low of 25°C. The RealFeel® is expected to hover around 35°C, with hazy sunshine continuing but becoming less intense.

By Monday, June 9, similar weather conditions will persist, offering some relief to tourists enjoying their stay. While the UV index will remain at an extreme level of 13, visitors will benefit from the slight drop in temperature and should take precautions, such as staying hydrated and using sun protection.

Despite the heat, Murree remains a top destination for Eid vacationers. Families from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and beyond have made their way to the hills to enjoy the scenic beauty and break from routine city life. However, authorities have urged travelers to remain cautious due to the unusually hot weather in Murree.

With clear skies, festive spirit, and a gradual easing of high temperatures, the weather in Murree is expected to improve slightly, making the remainder of the Eid holidays more comfortable for all.
