Islamabad, September 20, 2025 – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted hot and dry conditions for Islamabad on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
Residents of the capital city should prepare for another warm day as the prevailing continental air continues to dominate the weather pattern.
On Saturday night, dry and partly cloudy skies were observed in Islamabad and surrounding areas. The PMD stated that this trend is expected to persist into Sunday, with hot and dry weather likely across most parts of the country.
At the national level, mainly dry weather will dominate, while isolated rain-wind or thunderstorms may occur in some upper parts of Punjab. During the past 24 hours, hot and dry conditions prevailed in most regions, except for light rainfall recorded in Sheikhupura and Lahore.
Today’s highest temperatures were reported from Nokkundi at 42°C, Dalbandin at 41°C, and Sibbi at 40°C. For Islamabad, no rainfall was reported, and conditions remained consistently warm and dry.
