Prince Harry’s absence from the second season of With Love, Meghan was no coincidence, according to royal insiders. The series, led by Meghan Markle, returned to Netflix this week with fresh lifestyle content—yet noticeably without her husband on screen.
Speaking to The Mirror, royal commentator Jennie Bond called the decision “a smart and deliberate move” by the Duchess. “I think Meghan is very wise to keep the focus firmly on her. This is her project, her creative baby, and Harry has chosen to step back so the spotlight shines fully on his wife,” Bond explained.
While Meghan does reference her husband and children during episodes, the show’s central theme is about living stylishly, entertaining guests, and showcasing luxury products—rather than royal life. Bond added, “This isn’t a show about being married to a prince. It’s about being an influencer and businesswoman, and Meghan is doing it remarkably well.”
The new season features celebrity friends, chefs, and designers who join Meghan for cooking, crafting, and home décor segments. Personal touches include glimpses of family photos, though Harry, Archie, and Lilibet remain off-camera this time around.
Season one famously featured Harry in a surprise finale appearance during a garden brunch, but this time, Meghan takes center stage from start to finish.
