William and Kate Urged to Rethink Prince George’s Schooling

Prince William and Princess Kate have been encouraged to take an unconventional approach when making a significant decision about their eldest son, Prince George’s education.

Royal commentator Jennie Bond has advised the couple to break with royal tradition by enrolling all three of their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—at the same school, especially in light of Kate’s recent cancer diagnosis.

In an interview with The Mirror, Bond shared her insights, highlighting the careful research the future King and Queen have undertaken in selecting the best possible school for their eldest son.

“From the reports we’ve had, it certainly seems that William and Catherine have undertaken a great deal of research into the best school for George—and, perhaps, the other children,” she explained.

Bond suggested that given the challenging year the family has faced, keeping the siblings together in a single educational environment could provide much-needed stability and emotional support.

“I think it’s quite likely that, after the year they have had—and how unsettling it must have been for George and the other children, no matter how hard their parents tried to lessen the trauma of cancer—they would all feel happier and more secure if they could remain as a tight family unit,” she added.

She went on to propose that William and Kate consider sending their children to a day school rather than following the long-standing royal tradition of boarding school, which has been the norm for many members of the royal family.

“It would be brilliant if William and Kate chose to do things differently and enrolled their children in a day school for the remainder of their education,” Bond remarked.

However, she acknowledged that the final decision would likely rest on Prince George’s personal preference.

“Of course, it may be that George wants to board either full-time or as a weekly pupil, and I think it is his wish that will prevail. William and Catherine have a great deal to consider,” Bond noted.

With Kate’s health recovery being a priority, the couple’s decision regarding their children’s education will likely take into account both tradition and the well-being of their family.
