The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) has revealed the 16 elite finalists who will compete in the highly anticipated 2025 Wimbledon eChamps, powered by American Express.

These top gamers emerged from a global pool of over 140,000 competitors and are set to battle for digital glory on July 18 and 19 at the historic Wimbledon grounds.

The lineup includes last year’s winner, Brad Zellman from the UK, who is returning to defend his title on the virtual courts of TopSpin 2K25.

The competition is expected to be fierce, with players from eight countries—UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Canada, and the US—having advanced through intense online qualifiers held throughout June.

This year’s event brings a new dimension with two separate competitions taking place: one on the popular mobile game Tennis Clash, and the other on TopSpin 2K25 for the PlayStation 5.

The dual-platform format aims to double the excitement and offer more chances for participants to take home the coveted title of eChampion.

The TopSpin 2K25 finalists include Gareth Zellman and Brad Zellman from the UK, Hugo Fernandes and Jules Garouste from France, Nicolò Morosin and Andrea Alasia from Italy, as well as Jake Monty and Diego Santana from the US.

Meanwhile, the Tennis Clash contenders feature Hoz Mangera (UK), Alain Yahia (France), Victor Ionescu (Italy), Nicolae Aurel Botean (Germany), Brian Netter, Hankson King, and William Foster (US), and Marc-Antoine Paré (Canada).

The tournament will follow a seeded knockout format, with the Tennis Clash grand final scheduled for Friday, July 18, and the TopSpin 2K25 final taking place on Saturday, July 19.

The champions will earn more than just prestige—they will also receive an “ultimate weekend in London” experience next summer, including tickets to the 2026 Wimbledon Championships and American Express presents BST Hyde Park.

AELTC’s Chris Clements noted that the overwhelming participation reflected the rising appeal of Wimbledon eChamps and shared excitement in welcoming the top 16 finalists.

American Express executive Shiz Suzuki emphasized the brand’s continued support for events that align with its audience’s passion for both tennis and esports.

The tournament is produced by BLAST and will be streamed live on Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok. Fans around the world are invited to tune in and witness the crowning of the next Wimbledon eChampion.
