Born Terry Gene Bollea in Augusta, Georgia, Hogan passed away on Thursday, July 24, at his home in Clearwater, Florida.
While an official cause of death has not been confirmed, early reports suggest that Hogan suffered a cardiac arrest. Emergency responders reportedly received a 911 call from the Hogan residence early Thursday morning. Despite being rushed into an ambulance, the 12-time world champion was later pronounced dead.
