Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi Pad Mini, marking the brand’s return to the compact tablet market with a device designed to rival the popular Apple iPad mini.
Despite its smaller size, the Pad Mini packs premium features, powerful hardware, and versatile accessories, making it a top choice for productivity and entertainment on the go.
The tablet is available in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB configurations and in Purple or Gray color options. Pricing starts at SGD 799 in Singapore, AED 1,599 in the UAE, and 1,999 MYR in Malaysia, with more markets expected to follow soon.
Inside the box, the Pad Mini ships with a USB-A to USB-C cable and a 67W fast charger. Xiaomi also offers two key accessories: the Focus Pen and the Pad Mini Cover. The cover, available in white, features a 1.3mm PC shell and a 0.5mm PU layer with a built-in rubber band that doubles as a hand grip or kickstand.
The Focus Pen is compatible with multiple Xiaomi tablets, including the Pad 6S Pro 12.4, Pad 7, and Pad 7 Pro. It supports 8192 pressure levels, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and comes with three functional buttons for quick actions like screenshot capture and Spotlight search.
The Xiaomi Pad Mini features a 8.8-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1880x3008px, a 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10, and Dolby Vision support. Peak brightness reaches 700 nits, delivering vibrant visuals. Under the hood, the device runs on the 3nm Dimensity 9400+ chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM, ensuring smooth performance and efficient heat dissipation.
Another standout feature is the inclusion of two USB-C ports — one in portrait and one in landscape orientation. These support external devices, DisplayPort 1.4, and simultaneous charging.
With its premium design, flagship-level specs, and versatile accessories, the Xiaomi Pad Mini offers a powerful, compact alternative in the tablet market, perfect for users seeking performance, portability, and productivity in one sleek package.
