Electric mobility in Pakistan is gaining momentum, but buyers will now have to pay more.
Yadea Pakistan has officially increased the prices of its electric bikes and scooters by up to Rs 50,000 following a sharp surge in demand across the country.
The revised prices are effective from April 7, 2026, and are inclusive of applicable sales tax.
The sudden spike in demand for electric two-wheelers comes after significant fuel price increases, which have pushed daily commuters to look for cost-effective alternatives.
Dealers across major cities reported limited stock availability, with several popular models facing shortages due to the unexpected rise in bookings.
This strong consumer interest has accelerated adoption of electric scooters, especially among urban riders.
Apart from demand pressure, companies are also facing higher logistics, transportation, and operational costs.
These rising expenses have compelled manufacturers and distributors to revise retail prices to maintain supply and manage growing demand.
Most models saw a uniform price increase of Rs 5,000, while the flagship premium model recorded a much larger jump.

What This Means for Buyers
Despite the price hike, electric bikes remain an attractive option for commuters looking to reduce fuel expenses and maintenance costs.
With petrol prices fluctuating and urban travel becoming more expensive, demand for electric two-wheelers is expected to remain strong.
However, buyers planning to switch to electric mobility may want to act quickly, as continued demand and supply constraints could lead to further adjustments in the coming weeks.
