Yamaha Motor Pakistan has officially announced the discontinuation of its motorcycle manufacturing operations in the country.

The Japanese two-wheeler giant has decided to exit Pakistan, marking the end of its production journey in the local market.

Official Announcement

In an official statement, Yamaha Motor Pakistan expressed gratitude to its loyal customers for their support over the years.

The company confirmed that due to a shift in its global business policy, it will no longer manufacture motorcycles in Pakistan.

This decision has left many motorcycle enthusiasts disappointed, as Yamaha has been a trusted name in the two-wheeler industry worldwide.

Support for Existing Customers

Despite the halt in production, Yamaha reassured its customers that after-sales services will continue without interruption.

Spare parts will remain available through YMPK-authorized dealers across the country, with sufficient stock secured to meet future demand.

Additionally, warranty claims and customer service will be honored under the existing warranty scheme, ensuring that current Yamaha users are not left without support.

The company also encouraged customers to reach out through its official website, email, or WhatsApp for any inquiries.

Yamaha emphasized its commitment to supporting riders in Pakistan until the very end of its operations.

Impact on Pakistan’s Motorcycle Market

Yamaha’s exit is expected to create a significant gap in the mid-range motorcycle segment, where the company had built a reputation for offering durable, fuel-efficient, and stylish bikes.

Models such as the Yamaha YBR125 and YBR125G had become popular choices among urban commuters and young riders.

Industry experts believe Yamaha’s departure could open opportunities for other manufacturers to strengthen their presence in the market. However, for loyal Yamaha users, this announcement marks the end of an era.
