Yungblud has officially cancelled the rest of his 2025 tour dates after routine medical tests raised concerns about his health. The 28-year-old rocker, born Dominic Harrison, had been scheduled to continue his Idols World Tour across the United States this month but will now take a break from performing until the end of the year.
The singer shared the update through a detailed Instagram Stories post, explaining that recent voice and blood test results prompted his doctor to advise immediate rest to prevent him from “running himself into the ground.”
Yungblud apologized to fans holding tickets for the now-cancelled shows in Philadelphia, Cleveland, Washington, Mexico City, and multiple cities in Latin America. He assured fans that full refunds will be provided and expressed hope that the postponed shows can be rescheduled in 2026.
“This year has been unbelievable and I feel so lucky for everything that has happened,” he wrote. He added that while he understands fans may feel disappointed, the decision was necessary for his health, promising: “I will make it up to you.”
The cancellation comes amid a busy year for the artist, who has been touring globally in support of his album Idols, released in June. The record has already earned Yungblud a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album, marking a major milestone in his career.
Yungblud is expected to return to the stage in January with a performance in Sydney, before launching the UK leg of his tour in April.
