Geely’s premium electric brand Zeekr has officially launched the latest version of its compact electric SUV, the Zeekr X, introducing three refreshed configurations in China.
The updated lineup is priced between 155,800 yuan and 175,800 yuan (approximately $21,800 to $24,600), aiming to offer advanced technology and high performance at a competitive price point in the EV market.
The new Zeekr X retains its sleek and futuristic exterior design, highlighted by smart matrix LED headlights integrated seamlessly into the grille. This sporty electric SUV measures 4,450mm in length, 1,836mm in width, and 1,572mm in height, paired with a 2,750mm wheelbase for balanced proportions and interior space. Buyers can choose from six distinctive exterior colors, including Paris Brown Rice, Su Mo Grey, Oslo Black, California Pink, Hangzhou Green, and Seattle Green.
Inside, the Zeekr X showcases a premium and innovative cockpit, centered around a 14.6-inch electric sliding smart display. Mounted on a 353mm electric rail, the display moves horizontally with a gesture, switching between driver-focused mode and passenger entertainment mode.
The cabin also features a 50W wireless fast-charging pad, electronic password-protected glove box, 6.6L storage space, and dual front cup holders. Adding a touch of luxury, the model includes a 5.7L central island mini refrigerator capable of both cooling (-6°C to 20°C) and heating (35°C to 50°C).
Under the hood, the updated Zeekr X delivers impressive performance with a peak power output of 365 kW (489 hp) and a peak torque of 573 Nm, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.69 seconds. Customers can choose between two battery options: a 61 kWh Energee battery or a 66 kWh CATL ternary lithium battery. These offer CLTC ranges of 530 km and 512 km respectively, with the CATL battery expected to power the dual-motor variant.
The electric SUV comes equipped with advanced systems like an intelligent four-wheel-drive setup, XTCS anti-skid technology, and Akebono four-piston brakes to ensure exceptional safety and handling. Zeekr has also included the Zeekr AD driver-assistance suite, featuring full-speed adaptive cruise control and other intelligent driving functions.
