Actress spotted at Danville bookstore as she engages with staff and sparks online buzz
Actress Zendaya made an unexpected stop at a small independent bookstore in Northern California, delighting fans and staff during a quiet visit that quickly gained attention online.
The Euphoria star was spotted at Rakestraw Books in Danville, where she spent time browsing titles, interacting with staff and exploring recommendations during her visit.
The bookstore later shared a photograph of her appearance on Instagram, describing it as a memorable moment for the team. Staff noted that Zendaya appeared relaxed and friendly throughout the visit as she engaged in conversation with employees and showed interest in various books.
During her stop, she also posed for a photo holding two novels linked to upcoming film projects associated with both herself and actor Tom Holland.
Zendaya is set to return to the big screen as Chani in Dune: Part Three, scheduled for release in December. She is also expected to appear in The Odyssey, an upcoming film directed by Christopher Nolan, where she is reportedly cast as the Greek goddess Athena. Holland is also part of the ensemble cast.
Zendaya and Holland first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017 and later confirmed their relationship in 2021 after years of public speculation. Reports have also suggested that the couple became engaged during the 2024 holiday season.
The surprise bookshop visit has further added to Zendaya’s strong connection with fans, with the moment widely shared across social media platforms.
