Applications invited for post of CEO FBR Foundation

The Federal Board of Revenue Foundation (FBRF) has officially opened applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with a deadline set for November 30, 2021.

This significant appointment seeks an individual with a distinguished service record, free from any corruption inquiries throughout their entire service. The eligibility criteria specify that the candidate must hold a position of BS-21 or above, either as a serving or retired officer of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

To qualify for consideration, candidates are required to have an exemplary service history, with no allegations of corruption or misconduct. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the FBR Foundation, an organization that was incorporated into legislation in 2011.

The FBR Foundation was established with the primary objective of providing financial grants, support in cash or kind, or loans from its funds to individuals in need. The beneficiaries are defined as follows:

1. Individuals who have served or are currently serving in the FBR or its field formations as employees of the FBR, along with their dependents.

2. Individuals who have served in the Central Board of Revenue (CBR) or its field formations as employees of the CBR, including their dependents.

The application process is open to individuals who meet the criteria, and Member, Chief Commissioners, Chief Collectors, and Director Generals are encouraged to nominate suitable candidates after obtaining the consent of the nominee.

The CEO of the FBRF will be responsible for overseeing the foundation’s operations and ensuring that it fulfills its mandate of providing financial assistance and relief to eligible beneficiaries. The role requires a leader with a strong background in revenue-related matters and a commitment to the foundation’s mission of supporting individuals associated with the FBR and CBR.

Interested candidates are urged to submit their applications before the specified deadline, and the selection process will likely involve a thorough evaluation of the applicants’ qualifications, experience, and suitability for the role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the FBRF’s mission of providing support and relief to those associated with the revenue authorities in Pakistan.

The announcement underscores the importance of leadership in organizations dedicated to public service and financial assistance, emphasizing the need for individuals with a proven track record and a commitment to ethical and transparent governance. The appointment of a qualified CEO will play a crucial role in advancing the FBRF’s objectives and ensuring the effective utilization of its resources for the benefit of eligible individuals.
