Ariana Grande recently addressed comments she made about using Botox and Juvederm, offering a candid perspective on cosmetic enhancements.
The Wicked star spoke with Entertainment Tonight after receiving the Rising Star Award at the Palm Springs Film Festival on Friday. During her acceptance speech, Ariana humorously reflected on the honor, saying, “I never thought at the age of 31 I would be hearing the words ‘rising star’ again, so I want to start by thanking my good friends Botox and Juvederm.”
Following her lighthearted remark, Ariana took the opportunity to clarify her current stance on cosmetic procedures. The singer and actress revealed she has been “four years clean” from using Botox or other injectables. She emphasized her openness about beauty and self-care, stating, “I’m still clean, I’m still clean, but when I start going [for injections] again, I’ll let you know.”
Ariana, now a beauty entrepreneur with her brand r.e.m. beauty, stressed the importance of transparency in the beauty industry. “As a beauty founder, I think it’s crucial to be honest,” she shared, adding, “I love [Botox and Juvederm], and I support it, but I am four years clean. You see the lines? I love them.”
This isn’t the first time Ariana has spoken openly about cosmetic procedures. In a previous interview with Vanity Fair during a lie detector test segment, she candidly addressed speculation about her appearance. While she denied undergoing nose and breast surgeries, she admitted she was “open” to the idea of a facelift in the future. Regarding a “fox eye lift,” she humorously noted, “I discovered it through people who thought I did, and I said thank you.”
Ariana’s candidness about her experiences and choices reflects a refreshing approach to beauty and self-image, resonating with fans who appreciate her honesty. Her willingness to embrace her natural self while acknowledging past choices underscores her evolving relationship with beauty and confidence.
