Cambridge International Education (CIE) is all set to release the results for the AS and A Level June 2025 examination series on August 12, 2025, at 06:00 BST (UTC+1).
Thousands of students across Pakistan and worldwide are eagerly awaiting their grades, particularly in light of the recent controversy surrounding leaked exam papers.
The matter gained significant attention after Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) acknowledged that several A Level exam papers from the May/June 2025 session were partially leaked in Pakistan before their scheduled dates.
Following internal investigations, CAIE identified unauthorized early access to content from three specific exam papers.
Scope of the Exam Paper Leaks
According to CAIE, the compromised papers included:
Cambridge International AS & A Level Mathematics Paper 12 – One question was leaked before the official exam date.
Cambridge International AS & A Level Mathematics Paper 42 – Parts of two questions were circulated in advance.
Cambridge International AS & A Level Computer Science Paper 22 – Portions of one question were accessed early.
While these leaks involved only partial content, CAIE emphasized that there is no evidence indicating the full content of any paper was disclosed. The organization assured that strict measures are in place to protect the integrity of the examination process.
Cambridge’s Response and Support for Students
In its official statement, Cambridge confirmed that all affected papers from the June 2025 session will be marked as usual. However, to ensure fairness and support for impacted students, CAIE has announced free resit opportunities in the November 2025 exam series for the affected syllabuses.
This resit option is available to all candidates in Pakistan who took one or more of the compromised papers during the June exams. The initiative aims to give students the chance to improve their grades without incurring additional exam fees.
Anticipation Builds Ahead of Results Day
With results day approaching, students, parents, and schools are anxious to see how the events surrounding the paper leaks may have influenced overall performance.
Cambridge has assured the academic community that it remains committed to maintaining examination standards, transparency, and fairness.
The release of the AS and A Level June 2025 results on August 12 will mark the culmination of months of preparation and uncertainty, providing clarity for students as they plan their next academic or career steps.
