Capital Smart Motors revises Riddara RD6 prices after changes in taxes, duties and tariffs under Pakistan’s 2026-27 fiscal measures.
Capital Smart Motors (CSM) has increased the prices of its Riddara RD6 electric pickup in Pakistan, with the revised rates taking effect from August 1, 2026. The company has also discontinued two variants as changes in the country’s fiscal structure raise vehicle costs.
The latest price revision follows the implementation of the Finance Act 2026 and the Federal Budget for the financial year 2026-27. According to the company, changes in tariffs, duties, taxes and other fiscal measures have affected the overall cost structure of its vehicle portfolio.
CSM has therefore approved new selling prices for the affected Riddara RD6 variants and directed its sales teams to immediately implement the revised rates and inform customers about the changes.
Riddara RD6 Variants Discontinued
Under the latest revision, the Riddara RD6 Air and RD6 Ultra variants have been discontinued from the Pakistani market. This leaves the RD6 Econ and RD6 Pro as the available variants in the lineup.
The discontinuation further narrows the range of the electric pickup for Pakistani customers, while the remaining variants have received significant price increases.
Updated Riddara RD6 Prices
The Riddara RD6 Econ has seen its price increase from Rs 13.399 million to Rs 14.499 million, representing an increase of Rs 1.1 million.
Meanwhile, the RD6 Pro now costs Rs 17.999 million, up from its previous price of Rs 16.999 million. It has also received a Rs 1.1 million price increase.
The RD6 Air was previously priced at Rs 14.699 million, while the RD6 Ultra carried a price tag of Rs 18.499 million. Both have now been discontinued.
Impact on Pakistan’s EV Market
The latest adjustment comes as Pakistan’s electric vehicle market continues to expand, with manufacturers introducing new models while facing changing taxation and import-related costs.
The higher Riddara RD6 price in Pakistan could influence its competitiveness against other electric and hybrid pickups entering the market. However, the Econ and Pro variants remain available for customers seeking an electric pickup from CSM.
