Demi Moore debuts glamorous new shoulder-length hairstyle at Cannes Film Festival premiere of La Bola Negra
Demi Moore drew attention at the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival after unveiling a dramatic new hairstyle during the premiere of La Bola Negra.
The 63-year-old actress appeared on the red carpet wearing a sapphire-blue custom gown by Self-Portrait, featuring an oversized bow and sweeping train, paired with black sling-back heels and a statement necklace.
However, it was Moore’s noticeably shorter hairstyle that became the focal point of online reaction and fashion commentary.
Known for her signature long brunette hair, Moore debuted a shoulder-length lob styled in soft curls, giving her a classic Hollywood-inspired look with a contemporary edge.
The appearance marked another recent experiment with shorter hairstyles by the actress. Earlier this year during Milan Fashion Week, Moore showcased a sleek wet-look bob at a Gucci show.
Celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, who created the look, previously referred to the style as the “Demi-tris BoB.”
“I wanted to give Demi a very bold and fashion forward look,” Giannetos said at the time, adding that the hairstyle was inspired by the silhouettes featured in the latest Gucci collection.
He also described the transformation as a significant style shift for Moore, saying the look highlighted a more modern and effortless image.
The actress continues to attract attention during what many fans have described as a strong career resurgence, with upcoming projects including I Love Boosters and Landman.
Social media users widely praised Moore’s Cannes appearance, with many applauding both her fashion choices and willingness to embrace new styles.
