Diana’s Strong Comeback Ignites Pakistan vs South Africa Series

Diana Baig is set to make her much-anticipated comeback as Pakistan announces the squads for the forthcoming white-ball series against South Africa, set to commence on September 01.

After recuperating from a finger injury that kept her sidelined for over six months, Diana Baig is geared up to contribute her prowess to both the ODI and T20I squads.

The South African tour to Pakistan holds immense promise, featuring a total of three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).

The ODIs will play a crucial role in the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25 cycle. The mantle of leadership for both squads rests firmly in the hands of Nida Dar, who assumed captaincy duties from Bismah Maroof following the conclusion of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup earlier this year in South Africa.

The action-packed white-ball series is scheduled to unfold from September 1st to 14th, with all matches taking center stage at the iconic National Bank Stadium located in Karachi.
