In a thrilling showcase of diving brilliance, 21-year-old Wang Zongyuan successfully upheld China’s diving legacy, clinching the nation’s 10th gold medal at the prestigious World Aquatics Championships held in Fukuoka.

Wang’s remarkable performance in the men’s 3-meter springboard event earned him an impressive 538.10 points across six dives, leaving spectators in awe and marking his second gold victory following his previous win in synchronized springboard diving.

Outshining his competitors, Wang Zongyuan held a substantial lead of 30.60 points over Mexico’s Osamar Olvera Ibarra, who secured the second position.

Meanwhile, in the artistic swimming competition, Chinese twin sisters Wang Liuyi and Wang Qianyi showcased their grace and skill in the duet free routine.

Initially leading the pack with 255.2480 points, they were narrowly edged out by Austrian twin sisters Anna-Maria and Eirini-Marina Alexandri, who flawlessly executed more challenging routines to claim the gold with 255.4583 points.
