Senior Customs officers reshuffled across key appraisement, enforcement and human resources positions
ISLAMABAD, August 13, 2026: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced a major reshuffle involving several senior officers of the Pakistan Customs Service (PCS), with the transfers and postings taking effect immediately and remaining in force until further orders.
According to an FBR notification, Muhammad Junaid Jalil Khan (BS-21), currently serving as Director General (OPS), Directorate General of National Nuclear Detection Architecture (NNDA), Islamabad, has been assigned the look-after charge of Chief Collector of Customs Appraisement (North), Peshawar.
Muhammad Jamil Nasir Khan (BS-20) has been transferred from the post of Chief Collector of Customs (OPS), Appraisement (North), Peshawar, and posted as Chief Collector of Customs (OPS), Enforcement, Islamabad.
Key BS-20 appointments
Moin-Ud-Din Ahmad Wani (BS-20) has been appointed Collector, Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Islamabad. He has been transferred from his previous position as Collector, Collectorate of Customs Appraisement (East), Karachi.
Agha Saeed Ahmed (BS-20) has been transferred from the Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Lahore, and posted as Collector, Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Gadani.
Rizwan Salabat (BS-20) has been posted as Chief (M/HR-Customs) at FBR Headquarters, Islamabad. He was previously serving as Collector, Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Islamabad.
BS-19 officers also reshuffled
The notification also announced postings involving BS-19 officers.
Jamshed Ali Talpur has been posted as Collector (OPS), Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Lahore.
Irum Sohail has been appointed Collector (OPS), Collectorate of Customs Appraisement (East), Lahore.
Afzaal Ahmad (BS-19) has been posted as Collector (OPS), Collectorate of Customs Appraisement (East), Karachi. He has been transferred from his position as Director (OPS), Directorate of Post Clearance & Internal Audit (South), Karachi.
Performance allowance retained
The FBR clarified that officers who are already receiving performance allowance will continue to draw the allowance at their new places of posting.
The transferred and posted officers have also been directed to immediately submit charge relinquishment and assumption reports to the FBR for record and further necessary action.
The latest reshuffle covers key positions in Customs appraisement, enforcement, post-clearance audit and human resources, and is expected to affect the administration of major Customs formations across the country.
