FBR Takes Action: Customs Officer Suspended for 120 Days

Islamabad, August 8, 2023 – In a move aimed at upholding efficiency and discipline within the ranks of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), a customs officer holding the position of BS-17 has been suspended for a period of 120 days.

According to an official notification released by the FBR, the suspension order was issued in accordance with the powers vested in the Authority under Rule 5(1) of the Civil Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules 2020. The suspended officer, Mr. Imran Elahi, holds the position of Inspector Customs (Time Scale-BS-17) at the Collectorate of Customs Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore.
