Islamabad, August 3, 2023 – Pakistan’s Finance Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, has expressed the government’s unwavering support and cooperation to ensure the success of the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 cricket tournament.

The announcement came during a meeting between a delegation from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Finance Minister at the Finance Division.

The PCB delegation, led by Chairman Muhammad Zaka Ashraf, met with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to discuss matters related to the cricket board and the hosting of the Men’s ODI Asia Cup 2023. The tournament is set to take place in August and September, with Pakistan and Sri Lanka jointly hosting the prestigious event.

During the meeting, Chairman PCB Muhammad Zaka Ashraf briefed the Finance Minister on the preparations and arrangements being made for the Asia Cup 2023. He highlighted the significance of the tournament in promoting cricket in the region and fostering sports activities in Pakistan.
