Although England could benefit from Moeen’s skills, the spin-bowling maestro remains committed to his decision to retire from Test cricket.

In a light-hearted exchange with Brendon McCullum, Moeen shared some insights into his decision-making process. “They knew from the start,” he chuckled. “Especially when those India venues came out! Baz asked me again when I had my day off on the second day. I said no. I’m not going [to India]. There’s no way I’m going. That’s me done. It’s nice to finish like this and be part of an amazing day.”

Throughout his Test career, Moeen Ali has been a consistent workhorse for England in the longest format, showcasing some remarkable performances against top teams.
