Automotive

Pakistan’s electric vehicle market is witnessing another major development as Lucky Motor Corporation officially introduced GAC’s electric vehicle lineup in the country.

The company revealed four new EV models under GAC’s Aion and Hyptec sub-brands, targeting customers ranging from urban commuters to luxury SUV buyers.

The newly launched lineup includes two electric SUVs, one electric sedan, and one electric hatchback.

Among all the vehicles, the biggest attention-grabber was the Hyptec HT Ultra Gullwing SUV, which features futuristic rear gullwing doors that open upward, giving it a premium supercar-inspired appearance rarely seen in Pakistan’s auto market.

The launch marks a significant step forward for Pakistan’s growing EV industry, as more international brands enter the market with advanced electric mobility solutions.

GAC Aion EV Models and Prices in Pakistan

GAC’s mainstream electric brand, Aion, is focused on practical yet premium EVs designed for everyday use while offering modern styling and advanced technology.

GAC Aion UT

The Aion UT has been introduced with an ex-factory price of Rs 6,399,000, while the partial booking amount has been set at Rs 1,000,000. The premium electric hatchback is expected to compete with high-end fuel-powered hatchbacks and compact crossovers currently available in Pakistan.

GAC Aion V

The Aion V electric SUV carries an ex-factory price of Rs 8,899,000 with a booking amount of Rs 1,500,000. Positioned in the mid-sized crossover segment, the SUV aims to challenge both petrol-powered crossovers and rival EV SUVs in the Pakistani market.

GAC Aion ES

GAC also showcased the Aion ES electric sedan during the launch event. However, the company has not yet announced its official pricing or booking details.

Industry observers expect the sedan to target executive buyers looking for a premium electric driving experience.

Hyptec Targets Luxury EV Segment

GAC’s luxury EV division, Hyptec, also made a strong impression with two premium SUV variants designed for buyers seeking advanced technology and high-end styling.

Hyptec HT Ultra Gullwing

The Hyptec HT Ultra Gullwing has been priced at Rs 13,999,000, with bookings starting from Rs 2,500,000. Its standout feature is the Tesla-style gullwing rear doors, making it one of the most unique electric SUVs introduced in Pakistan so far.

Hyptec HT Elite

Meanwhile, the Hyptec HT Elite variant has been launched at Rs 11,999,000 with a partial booking amount of Rs 2,000,000.

With the arrival of Aion and Hyptec, GAC is aiming to strengthen competition in Pakistan’s rapidly expanding EV segment. The launch also reflects increasing consumer interest in electric mobility as automakers continue introducing modern EV technology to the local market.
