Google unveiled its newest premium offering: the AI Ultra plan, aimed at professionals and creators seeking access to cutting-edge AI capabilities.
The company also rolled out significant updates to its Gemini platform, highlighting its growing role across Google’s services, including Chrome.
The new AI Ultra plan, priced at $249.99 per month, is initially launching in the United States. Subscribers can benefit from an introductory offer of 50% off for the first three months.
The plan includes 30TB of Google Cloud storage, YouTube Premium, and exclusive access to Google’s most advanced AI models with increased rate limits.
It is positioned as the most powerful tier available, complementing the newly rebranded AI Pro plan, which remains priced at $19.99 per month.
A central focus of Google’s announcements was Gemini, which is being integrated further into the user experience.
As part of the AI Ultra offering, users will now gain early access to experimental tools like the Veo3 AI video generator.
Google describes Veo3 as a groundbreaking technology that can create not just visual scenes but also audio elements like city sounds, leaf rustles, or dialogue—generated entirely from text prompts.
In addition to Veo3, Google launched Imagen 4, its latest AI image generator, now available to all Gemini users through the app. Imagen 4 builds on previous iterations with more realistic rendering and faster generation times.
Another new tool, Deep Research, enables Gemini users to enhance responses using their personal content such as private PDFs or images. This allows for more tailored and precise output, marking a notable improvement in personalized AI experiences.
Google is also taking a major step forward by bringing Gemini into the Chrome browser. Starting tomorrow, Gemini will be available on desktop for both AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers in the U.S., provided their Chrome language is set to English.
This integration allows Gemini to clarify complex information, summarize webpage content, and eventually manage tasks across multiple tabs or even navigate websites for users.
These updates underscore Google’s commitment to placing Gemini at the center of its AI ecosystem. By embedding Gemini into tools like Chrome and enhancing its image and video capabilities, Google aims to create a seamless, AI-driven workflow for users.
With the addition of AI Ultra and expanded Gemini functionality, Google is solidifying its leadership in the AI space—offering innovative tools that cater to both casual users and enterprise professionals alike.
