Gold prices rebound in domestic markets as international bullion rates rise, although Middle East uncertainty and global inflation fears continue to fuel volatility.
KARACHI, October 26, 2026: Gold prices in Pakistan ended a six-day losing streak on Monday, gaining Rs1,400 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold increased to Rs423,436 per tola from the previous closing level of Rs422,036 in the domestic bullion market.

Despite Monday’s recovery, gold had lost Rs18,600 per tola over the preceding six trading days, reflecting significant downward pressure on prices.
Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams rose by Rs1,201 to Rs363,028 from the previous closing price of Rs361,827.
Bullion market experts attributed the recovery in local gold prices to an increase in international rates. However, they cautioned that uncertainty surrounding the Middle East situation and growing concerns about global inflation were keeping the precious metal volatile.
In the international market, gold gained $14 per ounce to reach $4,009, compared with the previous closing price of $3,998.
Gold prices in Pakistan are influenced by international bullion rates and currency movements, alongside domestic market conditions. As a result, changes in global prices can quickly affect local jewellery and investment markets.
Market participants will continue monitoring international gold movements, inflation expectations and geopolitical developments for further direction.
Monday’s increase offered some relief to gold investors following the metal’s sharp six-day decline, although continued uncertainty means price fluctuations remain a key concern for buyers and traders.
