Honor Brings Google’s Circle to Search to Magic V3

Honor has expanded its smartphone capabilities by introducing Google’s Circle to Search feature to its Magic V3 and 200 series.

Originally launched in January for Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series, Circle to Search later became available on Google’s Pixel devices. Now, Honor is the latest brand to adopt the feature, which allows users to easily gather information by simply circling or scribbling on their phone’s screen.

The Circle to Search feature enables users to highlight any area on their display to instantly search for more details about it. Whether it’s text, images, or objects, the feature leverages Google’s AI-powered search tools to provide fast and accurate information on anything within the selected area.

Honor’s CEO, George Zhao, emphasized how AI is reshaping daily tasks and enhancing the user experience. “Enhancements in AI are transforming the way we work, learn, shop, create, and interact with our devices,” Zhao stated.

He further highlighted Honor’s commitment to leveraging AI technology to make smartphone interactions more seamless and efficient. According to Zhao, this new feature will help users find translations, assist with homework, or gather more information about images seen on social media, enhancing everyday convenience.

The feature rollout has already begun, and users can access it through a software update. This update is available to those with the Honor Magic V3 and the 200 series smartphones, making Circle to Search more widely accessible beyond Google and Samsung’s devices.

With this update, Honor further cements its role as a key player in smartphone innovation, staying ahead in the competitive market by bringing convenient, AI-enhanced tools to its users. This collaboration with Google underscores the brand’s focus on providing cutting-edge technology that simplifies everyday tasks.

By making this feature available on multiple devices, Honor offers a practical solution that empowers users to access information in a faster, more intuitive way.
