Locally Assembled Honri-VE EV Starts Deliveries Across Pakistan

Eco-Green Motors achieved a major milestone by rolling out the first locally assembled unit of the Honri-VE electric vehicle (EV). Reports confirm that the unit came off the assembly line at the company’s Sajwal plant in Karachi.

Recently, new developments indicate that Eco-Green Motors has begun delivering these locally produced electric cars to dealerships across Pakistan. Social media images show a car container transporting Honri-VE units from the factory to dealerships nationwide.

Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (DFML), the company behind this venture, made a significant entry into Pakistan’s electric vehicle market with the introduction of the Honri-VE.

Pricing:

Honri-VE 2.0: Priced at an ex-factory rate of Rs 3,999,000.

Honri-VE 3.0: Available at Rs 4,999,000.

Specifications:

The Honri-VE is a compact yet spacious vehicle with dimensions of 3517mm in length, 1495mm in width, and 1660mm in height. It boasts a wheelbase of 2495mm and a ground clearance of 130mm, making it suitable for urban driving.

Performance:

Powered by a Ternary Lithium Battery and a Permanent Synchronous Motor, the Honri-VE delivers a power output of 30Kw and 84Nm of torque. It can reach a top speed of 100 km/h and offers a driving range of 200 kilometers on a full charge, which takes seven hours. The EV also includes Economy and Sports driving modes, along with a regenerative braking system for enhanced efficiency.

Exterior Features:

The Honri-VE showcases a sleek, modern design, offering both style and practicality. Key exterior elements include a chrome and black front grille, height-adjustable halogen headlamps, daytime running lights (DRLs), alloy rims, and dual-tone side-view mirrors with indicators. The vehicle also comes equipped with front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, and a rear spoiler for added flair.

Interior Features:

The interior of the Honri-VE is designed for comfort and convenience. It includes electric power steering, a knob-type transmission, a 5-inch color instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch infotainment system with Android capabilities. The car also offers 4-way adjustable seats, a rearview camera, electric windows, and rear seat folding options for added versatility. Additionally, a 220V AC charging gun is provided for easy home charging.

Safety & Convenience:

In terms of safety, the Honri-VE is equipped with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), a driver-only SRS airbag, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Other safety features include ISOFIX child seat anchors, rear parking sensors, automatic locking while driving, and low-speed pedestrian warnings.
