Honor’s upcoming smartphone will feature 80W charging, a 108MP camera and a display reaching 10,000 nits

Honor is preparing to launch the X9e Pro in Malaysia next week, with the company confirming that the smartphone will officially debut on September 24.

The upcoming handset has been teased through Honor Malaysia’s social media channels, revealing several details ahead of the launch. The company has also highlighted the phone’s durability, including promotional material showing the device being submerged in hot water.

The Honor X9e Pro will be offered in four colour options: Dawn Gold, Midnight Black, Reddish Brown and Royal Purple.

Camera capabilities will also be a key feature of the smartphone. Honor has confirmed that the X9e Pro will have a dual-camera setup on the rear, headlined by a 108-megapixel primary sensor.

More specifications have emerged through Malaysian media reports ahead of the official unveiling. The smartphone is expected to feature a massive 11,000mAh battery, putting it among devices with some of the largest battery capacities in the smartphone market.

The large battery will reportedly support 80W wired fast charging, allowing users to recharge the sizeable power pack at a relatively high rate.
