Kelly Clarkson will return as a coach for Season 30 of The Voice, rejoining fellow coach Adam Levine on the judging panel this autumn, NBC confirmed.

NBC announced Clarkson’s return through its official social media channels, posting that “Team Kelly has RE-entered the chat” alongside a video montage featuring some of the singer’s standout moments from the long-running music competition show.

Levine’s place on the panel has already been confirmed following his appearance alongside Clarkson during Season 29. However, NBC has yet to announce whether John Legend will return to complete the coaching line-up for the upcoming season.

Clarkson’s latest appearance will mark her 11th season as a coach on the series, extending a relationship with the franchise that began in Season 2 when she first appeared as an adviser.

The “Stronger” singer and original American Idol winner officially joined the coaching panel in 2018 for Season 14. Since then, she has become one of the show’s most recognizable mentors, although her participation has varied in recent years.

Her return in Season 29 alongside Levine and Legend was well received by viewers, with fans praising the chemistry between the coaches during the blind audition rounds.

Clarkson remains one of the most successful coaches in the history of The Voice. She holds the record for the most wins by a female coach, guiding four contestants to victory during her tenure on the show.

Those winners include Brynn Cartelli, Chevel Shepherd, Jake Hoot and Girl Named Tom.

Over the years, Clarkson has shared the panel with a rotating group of high-profile artists, including Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson, helping the NBC franchise maintain its popularity since debuting in 2011.

Clarkson’s return also comes as her daytime television program, The Kelly Clarkson Show, approaches the end of its seventh and final season later this year.

By returning to The Voice, Clarkson is expected to remain a prominent fixture in NBC’s autumn programming schedule as she transitions away from her daytime hosting role.
