New-generation Sportage L arrives in FWD and AWD hybrid variants with advanced safety features, premium interior, and enhanced technology.
KIA Pakistan has officially introduced the facelifted Sportage L Hybrid in the local market, bringing a refreshed design, upgraded technology, and hybrid powertrains.
The latest model replaces the previous boomerang-style lighting setup with the brand’s new signature Star-Map lighting design, giving the SUV a more modern and premium appearance.
The company has launched the Sportage L exclusively in hybrid variants, offering customers two options: the Sportage L FWD HEV and the Sportage L AWD HEV. Alongside the launch, KIA Pakistan also announced partial booking amounts for both variants.
Booking Prices
According to the company, customers can reserve the Sportage L FWD HEV with a partial booking payment of Rs2 million.
Meanwhile, the Sportage L AWD HEV requires a partial booking amount of Rs2.5 million. The final retail price will be communicated later after clarity regarding the applicable federal sales tax from the government.
Features and Specifications
The new Sportage L Hybrid stands out with its best-in-class length of 4,685mm and a wheelbase of 2,755mm, offering improved cabin space and comfort.
Both variants are powered by a SmartStream 1.6-liter turbocharged hybrid engine that delivers a combined output of 235 horsepower and 368 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted through a 6-speed automatic shift-by-wire transmission equipped with paddle shifters.
Inside the cabin, KIA has equipped the SUV with a range of premium features, including dual 12.3-inch curved displays, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, voice recognition, wireless charging, dual-zone automatic climate control, and 64-color ambient lighting.
The vehicle also comes with a smart key, remote engine start, and push-button ignition.
Safety remains a key highlight of the new Sportage L Hybrid. Both variants feature more than 20 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technologies designed to improve driver confidence and passenger protection.
The AWD HEV variant further enhances the driving experience with terrain modes for snow, mud, and sand, along with heated and ventilated seats, memory seating, a Harman Kardon premium sound system, and a smart power memory tailgate.
With its hybrid efficiency, advanced safety package, and premium features, the new KIA Sportage L Hybrid is set to strengthen competition in Pakistan’s growing SUV segment.
