Luxury automaker Lexus celebrated the highly anticipated world premiere of its all-new LBX model on June 05, 2023. The unveiling took place at a glamorous event in Milan, Italy, and was presented to the media by Chief Branding Officer Simon Humphries and Lexus President Takashi Watanabe.

The latest addition to the Lexus lineup will be launched in Europe, Japan, and selected global markets in the fourth quarter of 2023.

The inspiration behind the creation of the LBX came from the visionary mind of Lexus Master Driver, Akio Toyoda. Toyoda aimed to challenge the conventional perception of luxury cars and break free from the limitations of compact size.

The goal was to deliver an exceptional driving experience and design that would cater to discerning customers, enabling them to truly relax and express themselves during casual drives.

The development of the LBX revolved around the comprehensive renewal of the GA-B compact class platform, along with advancements in electrification technology and core engineering characteristics.

The exterior design of the LBX exhibits dynamic proportions and a confident stance, complemented by Lexus’ latest “Unified Spindle” front facia design. Inside the vehicle, great attention has been paid to crafting a premium environment that exudes exceptional quality.

The goal was to create an inviting and serene space that fosters a seamless connection between the driver and the car, promoting complete relaxation. Additionally, the LBX offers five distinct design themes, and customers can leverage the new personalized “Bespoke Build” program to customize their vehicle according to their unique lifestyle and preferences.

The LBX also offers comfortable mobility supported by Lexus Teammate, and additional driving support features include the introduction of a 12.3-inch full LCD display meter. In terms of specifications, the LBX has an overall length of 4,190 mm, an overall width of 1,825 mm, an overall height of 1,560 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,580 mm. The tire sizes available are 225/60R17 and 225/55R18, further enhancing the vehicle’s performance and aesthetics.
