Liverpool Rejects Al-Ittihad’s £150 Million Bid for Mohamed Salah

Liverpool has firmly declined an astonishing £150 million proposal from Al-Ittihad, a Saudi Pro League team, for the services of Mohamed Salah.

The offer, which even surpassed £100 million when considering additional clauses, was swiftly turned down by Liverpool. The club has made it abundantly clear that they have no intention of parting ways with the Egyptian international.

At 31 years of age, Salah committed to a fresh three-year contract with Liverpool last summer, demonstrating the club’s unwavering commitment to keeping him in their ranks.

Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, reemphasized the club’s stance, stating, “Our position remains unchanged, without a shadow of a doubt. That’s how it stands, and there’s nothing more to add.”

Time is of the essence for Liverpool, as the Premier League transfer window closed on August 31st, while Al-Ittihad still has until September 7th to finalize signings, as the Saudi Pro League’s transfer window remains open.

Salah, an integral presence at Liverpool, has participated in all three of the club’s matches this season, contributing to their seven-point total, including a draw against Chelsea and victories over Bournemouth and Newcastle United.

Salah boasts an impressive track record with Liverpool, tallying 187 goals in 308 appearances and providing 76 assists. He has amassed numerous accolades, including the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup.

Additionally, Salah has claimed the Premier League Golden Boot on three occasions and has twice been honored as the PFA Player of the Year.
