Changan Pakistan has increased the prices of its vehicles after the imposition of increased sales tax. The revised prices of Changan vehicles are effective from January 27, 2023.
The federal cabinet approved the Finance Supplementary Bill 2023 allowing increase in general sales tax to 18 per cent and additional taxes on luxury items as part of the reforms related to the International Monetary Fund’s Ninth Review.
The uncertain economic situation and devaluation of local currency against dollar has compelled Changan Pakistan to increase the retail selling prices of the vehicles.
Following are the increased prices for all variants of Changan Alsvin:
The revised price of Changan Alsvin Comfort 1.37L MT is increased by Rs30,000 to Rs3,929,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs3,899,000.
The revised price of Changan Alsvin DCT Comfort 1.5L is increased by Rs40,000 to Rs4,239,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs4,199,000.
The revised price of Changan Alsvin Lumiere is increased by Rs100,000 to Rs4,599,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs4,499,000.
Following are the increased prices for all variants of Changan Oshan X7:
The revised price of Changan Oshan X7 Comfort is increased by Rs70,000 to Rs8,069,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs7,999,000.
The revised price tag of Changan Oshan X7 FutureSense is increased by Rs80,000 to Rs8,679,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs8,599,000.
Following are the increased prices for all variants of Changan Karvaan MPV:
The revised price of Changan Karvaan MPV Standard is increased by Rs30,000 to Rs2,779,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs2,749,000.
The revised price of Changan Karvaan MPV Plus is increased by Rs30,000 to Rs2,929,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs2,899,000.
Following is the increased price of Changan M9 Sherpa:
The revised price of Changan M9 Sherpa is increased by Rs20,000 to Rs2,469,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs2,449,000.
